The mission of the Academy Players of RI is to foster and encourage the development of, and commitment to, the highest standards of community theatres including excellence in production, management, governance, community relations and services all while contributing to the Rhode Island community through raising funds and awareness for different charitable organizations.
Academy Players is extremely grateful to RISCA for its generous award of $8000 as part of the Rhode Island Culture, Humanities, and Arts Recovery (RI CHARG) grant.
Academy Players is also extremely grateful to Champlin Foundation for its award of a grant to expand our educational wing.
Our performers range in ages from 1 to 101. They travel from Massachusetts, Connecticut and within our great state of Rhode Island.
Our venue is on the Providence/Johnston line. Our theater can seat small groups and large groups of up to 200 people.
